Fairvue
Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 25, 2026 · Last updated: June 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Fairvue ("Fairvue," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information in connection with the Fairvue iOS application (the "App"). Fairvue is a golf recruiting app for junior golfers and is operated by an individual sole proprietor trading as "Fairvue." By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
A core design principle of Fairvue is data minimization: most of the information you enter — including your golf scores, GPA, gender, and state of residence — is stored only locally on your device and is never transmitted to us or to any server. The only information that leaves your device is described in the sections below.
1. Children's Privacy
Fairvue is intended for users aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
When you create an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you should review this policy with a parent or guardian, and we encourage parental involvement in a junior athlete's recruiting activity.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address in Section 10 and we will delete it.
2. Information We Collect
Information stored only on your device
The following information is entered by you and stored locally on your device. It is not transmitted to us, is not stored on our servers, and is not shared with any third party by us:
- Golf scores and related performance information
- GPA
- Gender
- State of residence
Because this information lives only on your device, it is removed when you delete it within the App or delete the App from your device.
Information stored on our servers
The following account information is transmitted to and stored on our backend (provided by Supabase — see Section 5):
- Name
- Email address
Purchase information
If you purchase a subscription or other in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store, and subscription status is managed through RevenueCat (see Section 5). We do not collect or store your payment card number or financial account details — these are handled by Apple. We and our subscription provider may receive purchase records, subscription status, and a non-identifying purchase/transaction identifier.
3. How We Collect Information
- Directly from you — when you create an account and enter information into the App.
- Automatically through purchases — when you make an in-app purchase, Apple and our subscription-management provider generate transaction and subscription records associated with your purchase.
We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking tools in the App.
4. How We Use Information
We use the limited information we collect to:
- Create and maintain your account and let you sign in;
- Provide, operate, and maintain the App's features;
- Process and validate in-app purchases and manage subscription status;
- Communicate with you about your account, including service or support messages and responses to requests you send us;
- Protect against fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
5. Third Parties and Data Sharing
We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate the App. Each provider receives only the information needed for its function. We do not sell personal information to any third party.
| Provider | Purpose | Information involved |
|---|---|---|
| Apple | App distribution and in-app purchase / payment processing | Purchase and transaction records; payment details are handled directly by Apple and not shared with us |
| RevenueCat | In-app subscription management and purchase validation | Purchase/subscription status, a non-identifying app user identifier, and device identifiers used for subscription management and fraud prevention |
| Supabase | Backend hosting and database for account information | Name and email address |
Equal protection commitment. We require that any third party with whom we share user data — including the service providers listed above, and any analytics tools, advertising networks, third-party SDKs, or any parent, subsidiary, or other related entities that may have access to user data in the future — provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy and as required by the App Store Review Guidelines.
We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with a legal process, protect our rights, or protect the safety of any persons.
6. Data Retention
- On-device information (golf scores, GPA, gender, state of residence) is retained on your device until you delete it within the App or delete the App. We never receive or retain this information.
- Account information (name and email) is retained on our servers for as long as your account is active, and is deleted when you delete your account or request deletion (see Section 7).
- Purchase records may be retained by Apple and our subscription provider as required for their own legal, tax, and accounting obligations, independent of your account with us.
7. Your Choices: Revoking Consent and Deleting Your Data
You are in control of your information:
- On-device data: You can remove this at any time by deleting it within the App or by deleting the App from your device. This requires no request to us.
- Account data (name and email): To revoke consent and request deletion of your account information from our servers, email us at the address in Section 10 from the email associated with your account, or use any in-app account-deletion option if available. We will delete your account information within 30 days of a verified request, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.
- Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings on your device. Cancelling a subscription does not by itself delete your account information; to delete that, follow the steps above.
Revoking consent or deleting your account may mean you can no longer use parts of the App that require an account.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the limited information we collect. Account information stored on our servers is hosted by Supabase, which provides encryption in transit and at rest. On-device information benefits from the security protections of your device and operating system. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, as we add new features. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
10. Contact Us
